The unprecedented report the Obama Administration submitted to the U.N. High Commissioner detailing the so-called failures of America on human rights is one of the most sickening actions taken by this president. Some Libertarians Believe Palin and Beck are Neocon Nightmares Conning the Tea Party

Baptist libertarian conservative Dr. Chuck Baldwin insists America does not need a movement to restore this nation; tea partiers cannot change anything wrong in America, because America needs a full-scale state revolution.  But first, Baldwin wants Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin to get lost.

Most Americans want states to regain Constitutional state’s rights, Baldwin, however, wants a libertarian revolution led by Ron Paul, not Beck and Palin or the Pea Party.

Baldwin’s latest column at chuckbaldwinlive.com calls for state revolts that must combine with the Ron Paul Revolution in order to create an all-out revolution of the states. Baldwin says for this to come about, Americans must join Ron Paul’s Revolution and stop listening to Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.

Baldwin’s demands are more leftist in tone–tell Americans what they must do, not do what they individually choose. In that case, let’s hurl each individual’s right to classical free-thinking (something Christians staunchly believe, because it’s Natural Law) under the bus while we’re at it.

Given the fact Christians, like Palin, maintain Israel’s right to defend herself and Ron Paul does not, should cause a Baptist preacher like Baldwin to reject many aspects of Paul’s revolution.

Instead, Baldwin, a radical Ron Paul revolter and favorite choice for Ron Paul’s presidential running mate, throws conservatives Sarah Palin (a fellow Evangelical Christian) and Glenn Beck  under the bus.  Palin and Beck are painted as nothing more than clueless pseudo-Patrick Henry-ites, Baldwin insists, refuse to be like Henry: start a real revolution like Henry asked for over 200 years-ago:

Mark my words: Palin and Beck may see themselves as part of a conservative ‘movement,’ but they want nothing to do with an old-fashioned, honest-to-God, Patrick Henry-style revolution.  In fact, they are doing everything in their power to keep such a revolution from taking place.  This does not mean that Palin and Beck do not contribute some good things to freedom’s fight.  They do.  The problem is, for every good thing they contribute they counterbalance it by supporting establishment principals, such as John McCain and Newt Gingrich, and attacking non-establishment players and ideas, which serves only to keep the Big-Government power structure firmly ensconced in Washington, D.C.

Did Baldwin watch the Restoring Honor Rally?  Beck focused mainly on God and Christian values espoused by the Founders, while standing against Marxism.  Baldwin should be glad someone like Beck stands up against socialism invading every aspect of America.

Beck stands against establishment politicians, never attacking non-establishment players, rather, asking for Constitutional “Refounders” to take America back, restore Founding principles, just without the actual shedding of blood.

Beck and Palin encourage Americans to take a stand: elect leaders with founding principles.  If Beck and Palin are not chastised for their fame and faiths, labeled as phony tactics contrived to energize crowds, they are deemed racists by leftists.

NEW YORK (AP) — A man accused of plotting to bomb New York synagogues and shoot down military planes ranted against Jews and mused about “taking down” targets in the United States, according to audio tapes played Monday at his federal trial.

The tapes were secretly recorded by a paid informant testifying against James Cromitie and three other men who were arrested in 2009 on their way to the synagogues.

The informant, Shahed Hussain, met Cromitie in 2008 after being sent by the FBI to infiltrate a Newburgh, N.Y., mosque….

A mosque? But…but…wasn’t it teaching peace and tolerance?

“Muslims want to take the U.S. down,” Cromitie says on one tape played for the jury. “Believe me, we can do it with our regular Muslims here.”

Cromitie also bemoans American military ventures in the Middle East.

“What do we do to make it stop?” he says. “We start taking things down here, you understand?”

He adds: “I will kill 10 million (Jews) before I kill one Muslim.”

Cromitie, 43, and three men recruited as lookouts – Onta Williams, 34, David Williams, 29, and Laguerre Payen, 28 – have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction and conspiracy to acquire and use anti-aircraft missiles to kill U.S. officers and employees.

Prosecutors allege that with Hussain’s encouragement, the men hatched the scheme to blow up two synagogues in the Bronx with remote-control bombs. They also wanted to use surface-to-air missiles to shoot down planes at the Air National Guard base in Newburgh, a city north of New York City.

The men obtained what they thought were explosives and a missile system but were actually inert devices supplied by the FBI, prosecutors said. They were arrested on May 20, 2009, when they went to the synagogues to plant the fake bombs.

The defense claims the men were entrapped by Hussain, a 53-year-old Pakistani immigrant who helped the FBI make hundreds of hours of video and audio tapes of the defendants that are the centerpiece of the case.

Of course! Wouldn’t anyone, when enticed, start rattling on about killing Jews? Apparently that is the idea that the defense wants the court to buy.

On tape, Hussain advises Cromitie that to be a good Muslim, he can’t kill out of anger toward Jews. However, he says, dying for “the cause” of Islam is righteous.

“It must be in jihad,” he says.

Apparently having an honest bone in your body, a slice of human decency, or an ounce of shame are disqualifiers if you want a job at the White House. Just look at the sickening, anti-American toadying they’re engaged in now

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer demanded Friday that a reference to the state’s controversial immigration law be removed from a State Department report to the United Nations’ human rights commissioner…

In a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Brewer says it is “downright offensive” that a state law would be included in the report, which was drafted as part of a UN review of human rights in all member nations every four years.

“The idea of our own American government submitting the duly enacted laws of a state of the United States to ‘review’ by the United Nations is internationalism run amok and unconstitutional,” Brewer wrote.

Here we have Arizona doing nothing more than enforcing laws that are already on the books, that the Federal government refuses to enforce.

The thug who lost his cool yesterday, snapping at the press and acting as if he had something to hide, apparently has a lot to hide.

Why would the Ground Zero mosque proponents employ what is, by all appearances, the worst possible man to conduct a supposedly open and transparent fundraising process? Obviously, it should call their sincerity into question. “No Answers from Developer of Mosque Near Ground Zero,” by Charles Leaf for Fox NewYork, August 25:

MYFOXNY.COM - While Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf has dominated headlines about the proposed cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero in lower Manhattan, developer Sharif el-Gamal, 37, is actually the central figure behind the project.

Yet just a few years ago, el-Gamal was waiting tables in some fancy Manhattan restaurants.

Naturally, we wanted to talk to Sharif el-Gamal to learn more about the man and his plans, but apparently he didn’t want to meet us. We made repeated requests for a sit down interview with him, left him multiple voice mail messages and he never returned any of our calls. We even went to his office and talked to colleagues, but we were turned away. He left us with no choice: We had to go find him.

El-Gamal is an American Muslim reportedly born to a Polish mother and an Egyptian father. He was raised in Brooklyn.

Today, el-Gamal’s company, Soho Properties, owns the building where arguably the most controversial mosque in the world will be built. He bought the old Burlington Coat Factory building at 45 Park Place, two blocks from the World Trade Center site, for $4.8 million in cash in 2009.

We asked him where he got the money to put down on the property, but he stayed silent when we approached him.

His newfound notoriety was an extraordinary leap from his not-too-distant days as a waiter at Serafina, a trendy Upper East Side eatery, and at Michael’s, an upscale celebrity-filled restaurant packed with a veritable who’s who in media.

El-Gamal’s former restaurant bosses and co-workers told Fox 5 that the young and opportunistic el-Gamal thrived on the buzz from bumping elbows with marquee names and relished the opportunity to schmooze the high dollar clientele.

“Customers would come in and ask for him, he had his regulars,” said Cosmo Sammarone, a Serafina waiter.

El-Gamal left Serafina in 2002 and started selling real estate. But in just a year, he went from broker to business owner and launched his own real estate company, Soho Properties, in 2003. Records show he is the president and chief executive officer.

A long-time associate of his says el-Gamal isn’t quite who he seems to be. The associate asked Fox 5 to protect his identity because he fears retribution.

“I was pretty much in shock when I saw him on the news as the developer,” the associate said. “What I can say about Sharif is nothing good.

He said el-Gamal liked living in the fast lane, meeting celebrities in the restaurants were he worked, and partying with them at nightclubs.

“Very persuasive, master manipulator,” he said of el-Gamal.

Today, el-Gamal’s holdings included at least four buildings in Manhattan, including the site near Ground Zero, one in Chelsea, and two residential buildings in Washington Heights, where tenants seem to like him.

Records show el-Gamal bought the Washington Heights properties in 2007 for a little less than $3 million each.

Brandman, president of N.Y. Commercial Real Estate Services, knows el-Gamal well. He, too, was a bit surprised to hear el-Gamal is the developer in the mosque near Ground Zero.

“I don’t think he has a lot of money,” Brandman said. “I’m sure he didn’t buy it with his own money.”

Soho Properties bought the site for the mosque for $4.8 million in cash. Just four months later, with Manhattan’s real estate market collapsed, el-Gamal made an even bigger deal.

With credit super tight, and prices plummeting, he paid $45 million for a 12-story commercial building in Chelsea that sold three years earlier for $31 million.

“It seems like a lot of pay in a downturn, considering it went for considerably less during the boom,” said Stuart Elliott, the editor of Real Deal magazine.

El-Gamal, the waiter turned mogul, plunked down another $5 million as down payment on the Chelsea building.

“Something’s up with that deal,” Ken Brandman said. “Unless someone gave him a lot of money, or he won the lottery, than somebody else put up the money.”

Fox 5 News has learned that el-Gamal did have help from a man named Hisham Elzanaty. Mortgage documents show that Elzanaty is the guarantor on the $39 million loan el-Gamal’s company secured to buy the building….

Earlier this week, the media once again displayed why no one can take them seriously. The Fourth Estate is totally insolvent and is declaring bankruptcy, morally and otherwise. In this recent instance, having to do with Tuesday night’s Republican primary in Alaska, it was at least quite hilarious.

You see, Sarah Palin had endorsed Joe Miller over the incumbent alleged Republican Senator, Lisa Murkowski. As Jim Treacher at The Daily Caller lays out, and as Ace of Spades also noted, the media was so hell-bent on a way to discredit Sarah Palin that they indulged in the child-like behavior of squinting your eyes closed to reality and wishing really, really hard that fantasy comes true. First up was Alex Gutierrez at Slate, who was clearly desperately hoping for a way to spin Palin as politically detrimental:

I hope Gutierrez at least shared the crow with her boyfriend, Dave Weigel, who defended her in his column without disclosing their relationship status, in true Weigel form. He has updated his column to make the disclosure now, only after being shamed (surprisingly) into it by The Daily Caller piece.  His girlfriend has now attempted to cover up her bias as well, and has removed “Grizzly woman not mama grizzly” from her twitter bio.

Omar Rivera of the Bronx was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing last night, after he entered a Queens mosque drunk and urinated inside.  Omar peed in the mosque and all the Islamic supremacists (co-conspirator Hamas funder, Muslim Brotherhood front  CAIR's headline was Islamic propaganda: "Man Shouting Anti-Muslim Slurs Desecrates NY Mosque")  and their useful idiot tools cried racism and blamed  those opposed  the Islamic supremacist Ground Zero mosque and extremist Rauf's  cultural jihad center on our graveyard.

Lies. Lies. Lies. There is something terrible and dangerous happening right before our very eyes. Can you smell the stench?

Late Update: The Washington Post
was told
by the NYPD that Rivera was so drunk that he didn't even know he was at a
mosque, and police say they don't believe the incident was bias-related. The
New York Post has since updated its original story — removing any mention
of anti-Muslim slurs. A police source also tells the Post that when
found by worshipers, Rivera said "My sister's dead."

Late Late Update: The NYPD now confirms to TPM that the incident is
not being investigated as bias-related. The NYPD said members of the mosque
stated that Rivera did not make biased comments during the incident.

In my book, a moderate Muslim is a Muslim who…

Last week, after the announcement that RWN is sponsoring Homocon, people started asking me why RWN chose to promote that event.

After all, I’m against gays in the military, I’m a strong supporter of Prop 8, and I’m very much in favor of a Federal Marriage Amendment. So, why back a gay group that doesn’t agree with me on any of those issues?

Well, let’s start from scratch. First of all, RWN has a history of supporting gay conservatives. At one point or another, RWN has interviewed Andrew Sullivan (in his pro-war days), Tammy Bruce,Matt Sanchez, and Christopher Barron from GOProud. Additionally,Matt Sanchez has written for the website and B. Daniel Blatt from Gay Patriot still writes for RWN while Jeff Gannon and the blogger from the now defunct Boi from Troy were invited to participate in RWN’s blogger polls. So, sponsoring an event like Homocon isn’t a big break from what RWN has done in the past.

Mohammedan imperialism comes in many guises. Imam Rauf and his friends are betting on the soft jihad — the jihad of the wallet, of the school book, of the courtroom. In this case, real estate jihad. Planting a victory flag at the heart of enemy soil.

Our leftists keep assuring us that this is not warfare at all. It is sprituality. It is freedom of religion. It is an exercise of natural rights. It is neighborly! But most Americans see deadly jihaddist cheerleading dressed up in a long white dress of soothing slogans.

What is the real deal here? Will Muslims see the mosque as supremacist triumphalism? It seems so.

So far, most Americans have heard little but conjecture about how the 9/11 Victory Commemoration Mosque is understood in the Mohammedan nations. Well, now we hear from a prominent authoritative voice. Abdul Rahman Al-Rashed, the general manager of Al Arabiya TV. And he thinks that building the mosque at Ground Zero is a bad, bad idea.

This comes to us from Asharq Al-Awsat, where Mr. Al-Rashed used to be the editor in chief.

Should you be curious, Asharq Al-Awsat is international Arab newspaper which has an English language edition. According to Wikipedia (don’t ask me) it is published by H.H. Saudi Research & Marketing (UK), and is owned by Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. I cannot offer you an informed opinion. It does appear however, that Asharq Al-Awsat has a wide readership and is generally regarded as more of a normal news organization than Al-Jazeera.

All that said, Mr. Al-Rashed tells us that:

Muslims do not aspire for a mosque next to the 11 September cemetery …

Well, how about that! Who knew? I particularly call your attention to his use of the word “cemetery“. Whatever his outlook may be, at least this guy knows that the construction of the mosque is an encroachment on hallowed ground.
